What about a tag for nonnude or clothed/covered up subjects before the censoring?
I added "nonnude" to this upload already http://censored.booru.org/index....t&s=view&id=3427.

censored_clothes would be better as you can already search -nude.

I think this is what the rating system is supposed to be used for:
https://danbooru.donmai.us/wiki_pages/10920
safe = clothed and not overly sexual
questionable = mildly sexual (breasts, solo nude)
explicit = genitals, sex acts, cum

However, the censors make this system confusing, since nothing here should ever be explicit (except for penises I guess). I also haven't been marking images appropriately, I just have the mass uploader mark everything as questionable.

Using censored_clothes for images where the girl is wearing clothes that cover any nudity and still are censored should work.

-nude does not give me any hits.

Censored_clothes is a good tag, but implies only clothes are censored. That excludes images like this http://censored.booru.org/index....t&s=view&id=3280, where the skin is censored but clothes are not.

Rating:safe works, though like you said nearly every image could be considered safe after censors, and most images are left on rating:questionable.

the search here has a flaw in that it can't search for just a negation clause, you need to use at least one tag that isn't negated. search for "1girl -nude"

in the image you linked there, I would say that swimsuits should be categorized differently from regular clothes, it would not fit under censored_clothes anyways. you do have a point in that censored_clothes isn't exactly what you described.

I'll have to look into what the other boorus use to search for the clothed girl images you are looking for.

I'd like to suggest a new category for censoring, due to works such as:

http://censored.booru.org/index....st&s=view&id=3280
http://censored.booru.org/index....st&s=view&id=2310
and
http://censored.booru.org/index....st&s=view&id=4207

not having a proper name or definition.

The name I'd like to propose is "layered_censorship", where two or more forms of censorship are used in an image, one on top of the other. This not only would be helpful in finding images such as the ones I linked, it would also help filter images from searches if people did not want something as absurdly or heavily censored.

sounds fine, I'll add it to the list in the OP.

as always, naming new tags is the easy part, the challenge is applying it to all of the relevant images.

I'll help out with that, if I find any which fit the tag I'll apply it to them.

I really hope this doesn't cause any drama, but I was just wondering when and where the trap tag is applicable? Does it imply attempted deception? Is it just shorthand for a male with feminine gender presentation? It can have some very nasty implications in the real world, but I trust that's not the case here. There's a character of whom I'm considering making a censor, a trans woman. Some of the stuff with the trap tag is kind of emotional dynamite for me, which is why I've blacklisted that tag. But the point is that I'd rather not have this character lumped together with that. I'm okay with using the futanari tag, by the definition here, I am one IRL. But "trap" seems more subjective, and I feel like I'd rather keep the image to myself than associate it with that.

so on danbooru, they use the alias trap > otoko_no_ko (japanese term for "girly boy"). for here I decided to reverse the alias because I thought trap was easier to understand for english speakers. I could switch the alias here to be otoko_no_ko as well, if you think trap isn't the right word for crossdressing/feminine boys.

as for trans/shemale artworks, yes please use the futanari tag. if they have breasts and a penis, futanari is the tag I want to see used. If you want to make further distinctions, you can add more tags like newhalf (aliased shemale > newhalf), no_testicles, or full-package_futanari.

In the real world, "trap" is often used as a transphobic slur. As with all transphobia, the idea is that a trans woman is "really a man", and that a heterosexual male who is attracted to one has "fallen into a trap". I'm sure there are guys who do that to sleep with heterosexual men, but that's a completely different thing to a trans woman. Conversely, I'm aware that while they probably shouldn't, most anime fan spaces use trap to mean a crossdressing/feminine boy, and that short, simple tags are most effective. I have seen censors where the viewer gets a "nasty surprise" when the character they're masturbating over is "really a boy". This obviously makes me uncomfortable, but by blacklisting trap and gay_encouragement both, I usually don't have to feel undesirable by association, and those who want to enjoy that still can. It is a shame, since as a pansexual, I find those characters as attractive as any other, but I feel it's better to be safe. But to return to my point, it seems I could leave out the trap tag for the censor I'm planning, which is fair. I'd want to reserve the right to remove such tags as trap or 1boy from my own censor(s) of trans women, but I'd happily leave everyone else's alone. Futanari is probably the least loaded/harmful of those terms, so I can use that. I understand that "shemale" is a common term in porn, but I probably wouldn't say it to a trans person's face IRL. What does full-package_futanari imply? Instead of what?

This is kind of off topic, but there have been a couple of times I accidentally clicked "report post" on a phone, when I meant to press "forum". I'm really sorry if that's a nuisance; does it go through straight away, and is there a way to "call it off"?

i did already change the alias back to otoko_no_ko. also made a new alias for shemale > newhalf, in case someone tries using it. generally i try to match the way danbooru defines their tags, since they have an extensive and easy to use tag wiki (and because i have a script that copies their tags over).

some definitions
newhalf = penis and testicles, no vagina
futanari + no_testicles = penis and vagina
full-package_futanari = penis, testicles, and vagina

by definition, "futanari" is the japanese word for "to have both" so really it should only be used for when there is both a penis and a vagina. but nowadays the word gets used to mean "girl with penis" so that's how I want it tagged here. the people that care for the stricter definition can add more tags to their search.

and don't worry about accidental reports. i barely get any reports anyways, it doesn't bother me to sort through a few false flags.

The otoko_no_ko tag actually sits even more comfortably than I thought it would. Thanks for that. While I'm not fluent, I do have some Japanese knowledge; I wasn't aware of that otoko no ko, with that kanji, separate from the "dictionary" term for a boy. My understanding of futanari is "two forms",which, in terms purely of body, isn't wrong, I suppose. Same with newhalf; in terms of body, I can't say that's innacurate. In fact, some native Japanese usage of it for what we're calling otoko_no_ko here is what's technically wrong, by definition. It does amuse me when people think just writing "futa" is a super kinky thing when they don't realise that all they're saying is "two" :P. I know it's an abbreviation for English speakers, but that does tickle me a bit. In non-sexual English terms, I guess it all boils down to different types of intersex bodies, and those somewhere in transition.

Thanks for discussing this calmly, by the way. I know it can be a difficult subject...

On a more technical note, is it possible to blacklist a combination of tags, but not those tags separately? I'm thinking it might be useful if I can blacklist the combination of otoko_no_ko and caption. But blocking the former completely would put me back where I was before, and blocking the latter would hide many, many censors, including all of my own bar a few exceptions. It's totally fine if that can't be done, though, I can work around it.

you could try something like (otoko_no_ko+caption). without spaces it should treat that as one tag to blacklist. haven't tried this myself though, so not sure if it actually works.

EDIT. it does not work that way. blacklist only works for individual tags.

That's okay, if/when I search for otoko_no_ko, I can -caption. And the opposite, as well. Thanks, anyway!
